How Long Will My HVAC Equipment Last?
The standard answer to this question is 10-25 years base on your climate and what kind of heating system you have. Depending on heat conditions and how much you use your system, it may be less years. You want to make sure you conduct yearly maintenance on your heating and air conditioner as it will help to extend the life of your system.
Is Gas or Electric Better?
Most all air conditioning and heating systems in Lake Havasu City and Parker are electric as most houses are all electric. So, base on whether you have gas or electric in your home we can make a determination as to which you should have installed.
Do I Have to Replace A/C and Furnace at the Same Time?
By replacing both the AC and the furanace at the same time it allows for your new system to be more efficient and most often reduces your energy bill. It should be noted that if you choose to only replace the air conditioner alone ina home that has an old heating system, it can be a waste of money. We will always help you make a quality decision as to what path you should take.
Will I Need New Ductwork?

How Often Should I Change My Filters?
On the average you should replace your AC filters every 9o days. Of couse, that depends on how much you use your AC and heating system during those periods. Some professionals even recommend replacing them every 45 days. Always make sure you match up your new filter with the proper dimensions and sizing as your current filter. We recommend you take a picture of your filter brand and model number when you go to relpace it.
Is a bigger HVAC system better?

What do the different energy efficiency ratings mean?

Do I need a programmable thermostat?
This is a popular question. The basic answer is NO. Of course you can move up to a programable thermostat which uses technology to monitor your AC and heating system and offer more advanced functions. We recommend you choose a programable thermostat.
