The standard answer to this question is 10-25 years base on your climate and what kind of heating system you have.  Depending on heat conditions and how much you use your system, it may be less years. You want to make sure you conduct yearly maintenance on your heating and air conditioner as it will help to extend the life of your system. 

Most all air conditioning and heating systems in Lake Havasu City and Parker are electric as most houses are all electric.  So, base on whether you have gas or electric in your home we can make a determination as to which you should have installed. 

By replacing both the AC and the furanace at the same time it allows for your new system to be more efficient and most often reduces your energy bill.  It should be noted that if you choose to only replace the air conditioner alone ina home that has an old heating system, it can be a waste of money. We recommend you take a picture of your filter brand and model number when you go to relpace it.
